Communication is at the heart of what Parent Councils do and social media is one way groups can keep parents and carers informed about their work and how they can support their child’s learning. If social media is used in the right way, then it can make a real difference however, we all know it can also be a place for inappropriate behaviour and online bullying. This session will help you think about different ways to communicate and which of the many social media platforms are best for your school community. We will also consider appropriate guidelines to have in place and how to prevent some of the potential pitfalls.
Venue:: Glasgow Gaelic School, 147 Berkeley St, Glasgow G3 7HP
Date and Time: 11 June from 7-9pm
