The Scottish Parliament

The Scottish Parliament is the political body, made up of Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) who vote on and debate issues and topics before and after they become either legislation and/or policy.  The Scottish Parliament has a number of cross party committees which scrutinise, discuss and advise on a host of different policy and legislative areas.  The official website for the Scottish Parliament is available here.
Connect shares parents' views with Scottish Parliamentary Committees by submitting papers and reports on different topics.  Connect engages often with the Education and Skills Committee and is called to give evidence regularly. You can read about the work of this Committee here.
Connect also communicates with different politicians to share parents' perspectives and experiences.  You can read more about our work under the Policy and News tabs of our website.
